Mufulatelwa Gumbie

Mufulatelwa Gumbie has extensive experience in metallurgical management, currently serving as the Metallurgical Services Manager at Zimplats since September 2018, where responsibilities include managing metallurgical projects and process improvement initiatives. Prior roles include Plant Manager at ZCDC, overseeing diamond processing operations while managing a team of approximately 400 personnel, and Production Manager at ZIMASCO, focusing on producing HCFeCr alloy and championing process improvement initiatives. Additional experience includes positions as Production Superintendent at BCL Limited and Group Process Improvements Manager at ZIMASCO Kwekwe. Mufulatelwa Gumbie holds a B.Sc. in Metallurgical Engineering and an MPhil in Minerals Engineering from the University of Zimbabwe, alongside O & A Level Certificates in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry from Victoria High School.
