Markus Belz has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Markus started their career at Deutsche Telekom in 2009, where they worked as a Start up! International Management Trainee, conducting interviews with users and implementing Design Thinking methods. Markus also worked as a Marketing Manager, supporting the installation of multimedia systems in soccer arenas.
In 2014, Markus joined trinckle as a Marketing Manager before moving on to work as a Strategy Manager at both rethink and diffferent, where they conducted user interviews, workshops, and created digital marketing strategies for major German media brands.

Markus's most recent role was at zinsbaustein.de as a Senior Product Manager. Here, they redesigned the platform and communication channels, introduced an OKR framework, and implemented a new CMS system to enhance the overall customer experience. Markus also introduced innovative approaches to improve the investment experience for investors.

Markus Belz obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Fachhochschule der Wirtschaft (FHDW) in the years 2009 to 2012. Following this, they pursued a Master's Degree in Marketing Communication at SRH Berlin School of Design and Communication from 2015 to 2017. Prior to their tertiary education, Markus Belz completed their Bilingual A-Levels at Wirtschaftsgymnasium Ravensburg from 2006 to 2008.
