Allyssa Martin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Allyssa began their career as a Recruitment Chair at Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity, where they organized recruitment events and evaluated potential candidates. Allyssa then served as an Executive Secretary for the fraternity, handling administrative tasks and ensuring effective communication within the organization.
Following their time at the fraternity, Allyssa interned at Berdon LLP in their Human Resources department, where they assisted with recruitment processes such as resume screening and preliminary interviews. Allyssa then gained experience as a Human Resources Intern at Centerbridge Partners, L.P., a private investment management firm.
Allyssa further expanded their HR skills as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Fitch Ratings, a global credit ratings provider. In this role, they were responsible for managing the candidate experience and provided support for global recruitment efforts.
Most recently, Allyssa has joined Zip Co as a People Operations Specialist. Allyssa previously held the position of People Operations Associate at the same company. Zip is a leading global Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) company that aims to simplify and improve payment solutions.
Throughout their career, Allyssa has demonstrated strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a commitment to streamlining talent processes. Allyssa is experienced in managing diverse stakeholders and has a background in recruitment and HR coordination.
