Brendan Winter

Brendan Winter has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Brendan is currently working at Zip Co as the Creative Lead, a role they started in May 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior Copy Manager at Zip Co from December 2021 to May 2022. Brendan also worked as a Senior Copywriter at Zip Co from September 2020 to November 2021.

Before joining Zip Co, Brendan was a Senior Copywriter at Ampol Australia from May 2020 to September 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Mid Copywriter at CX Lavender from May 2019 to May 2020.

Brendan also has experience as a self-employed Senior Copywriter from November 2018 to April 2019. Brendan took a sabbatical from April 2018 to October 2018, during which they traveled with their family.

Earlier in their career, Brendan worked as a Senior Copywriter at Virgin Mobile Australia from April 2013 to March 2018. Brendan started their career as a Copywriter, working as a self-employed professional from June 2007 to April 2013.

Prior to that, Brendan was the Internal Comms Manager at Virgin Mobile Australia from February 2002 to June 2007. Brendan also worked as a Data Analyst at Marketing & Research Associates from 1997 to 2000 and as a Curatorial Assistant at the Art Gallery of NSW in 1997.

Brendan Winter has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Sydney. Brendan also holds a Master of Arts degree in Creative Writing from UNSW. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained a certification in Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in August 2017.
