Raj Shashi

Raj Shashi has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Raj is the current Associate Engineering Manager at Zip Co since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Zip Co from March 2021 to November 2021. Before joining Zip Co, Raj worked as a Software Engineer at Zip Co from February 2020 to March 2021. Raj began their career as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Zip Co in February 2017 and continued in that role until February 2020.

Before joining Zip Co, Raj worked as a Senior QA Engineer at Healthdirect Australia from September 2016 to February 2017. Raj gained valuable experience as a Senior System Engineer at IBM India Private Limited from September 2010 to July 2016. Raj started their career as a Software Engineer at Tech Mahindra (formerly Mahindra Satyam) in July 2005 and worked there until August 2010.

Throughout their career, Raj has gained extensive experience in software engineering, quality assurance, and management roles, showcasing their ability to adapt and excel in different environments.

Raj Shashi completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from Sikkim Manipal University - Distance Education in 2013. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Electronics/Telecommunications from RV College Of Engineering, from 2001 to 2005.

In addition to their degrees, Raj Shashi has obtained several certifications. Raj achieved the "Certified Tester Foundation Level" from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in July 2016. Raj also holds the "Associate in General Insurance" certification from The Institutes, AICPCU. Furthermore, they have certifications as a "Certified Application Developer -- DB2 Universal Database V9.1 Family" and a "Certified Database Associate -- DB2 Universal Database V9.1 Family" from IBM. Raj has also obtained the "ITIL V2 Foundation" certification, although the institution from which they obtained it is not provided. Lastly, they have completed the "Teradata 12 Basics (TE0 121)" certification from Teradata.
