Florence Haruna has a diverse work experience starting in 2016. Florence began their career as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Cape Coast, where they worked until 2017. During this time, they also served as a Medical Laboratory Scientist at various healthcare facilities such as UCC Hospital, Tema General Hospital, and 3Gs Diagnostic Center. In 2018, they worked at 1 Medical Reception Station as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, and later at COY Paediatrics Hospital in the same role. Most recently, starting in 2019, Florence joined Zipline where they held multiple roles including Fulfillment Operations Professional, Fulfillment Operations Lead, and currently serves as a Monitoring and Evaluation Research Analyst.
Florence Haruna pursued their education in a chronological order. Florence began by completing a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Medical Laboratory Technology at the University of Cape Coast from 2012 to 2016. After that, they obtained several certifications, including the Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP-MLS) from the Ghana Allied Health Professional License in 2016, 2018, and 2019. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Fulfillment Operations from Zipline in May 2019.
Continuing their education, Florence pursued a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Health Systems Research and Management at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana, from 2020 to 2023. During their time at the University of Washington in 2022, they acquired a Certificate in Fundamentals of Implementation Science. In 2023, they further enhanced their knowledge by obtaining a Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation in Global Health from the University of Washington.
