Gustavo Fujiwara

Gustavo Fujiwara is currently working at Zipline since August 2021, focusing on aerodynamics, aircraft design, and multidisciplinary design and optimization. Prior to that, Gustavo worked at Amazon for two years, where Gustavo held various positions related to aircraft multidisciplinary design and optimization. Gustavo has also gained research experience at NASA Ames Research Center, specializing in projects related to aerodynamics, aeroelasticity, and aircraft design. Gustavo has a strong educational background with a Ph.D. in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Washington, as well as master's degrees from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica. Their expertise lies in the fields of aerodynamics, aeroelasticity, aircraft design, and multidisciplinary optimization.
