Mukooza Peter Mukasa

Mukooza Peter Mukasa has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Mukooza started their career as a Graduate Trainee in IT at Eskom Uganda, where they focused on implementing data security measures and training end-users on software applications. Mukooza then moved on to working as a Site Engineer at PEOPLE PERFORMANCE GROUP, where they oversaw telecom equipment installations and ensured quality control and safety standards. Following that, they took on roles at Bandwidth and Cloud Services Group (BCS) as a Network Operations Center Engineer and later as a Network Operations Center Team Lead, where they provided technical support, managed network systems, and implemented site rollouts. After this, they worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University Africa, where they conducted TA sessions, prepared lesson plans, and provided one-on-one tutoring to students. Currently, they are employed as a Technical Engineer at Bandwidth and Cloud Services Group (BCS), where they are involved in client service implementation and the planning of the core network infrastructure. Most recently, they joined Zipline as a Data Analyst, where they utilize their analytical skills to support the organization's data-driven decision-making process.

Mukooza Peter Mukasa completed their Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specializing in Applied Machine Learning and Cyber Security, at Carnegie Mellon University from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Makerere University, graduating in 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Mukooza Peter Mukasa has acquired several certifications. These include certifications in Ethical Hacking, specifically in Enumeration, Footprinting and Reconnaissance, Introduction to Ethical Hacking, Scanning Networks, and Vulnerability Analysis. These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn in August 2021.

Furthermore, they have obtained certifications in Data Visualization, Power BI Essential Training, Data Fluency: Exploring and Describing Data, Excel Statistics Essential Training: 1, Learning Data Analytics, and Learning Excel: Data Analysis, all from LinkedIn. The certifications in Data Visualization, Power BI Essential Training, and Excel Statistics Essential Training: 1 were obtained in August 2021, while the certifications in Data Fluency: Exploring and Describing Data, Learning Data Analytics, and Learning Excel: Data Analysis were obtained in July 2021.
