Marissa Morrison

Marissa Morrison has had a successful career in various human resources and leadership roles. Marissa most recently worked at ZipRecruiter as the Vice President, People. Prior to that, they were a Member & Contributor for Forbes Human Resources Council and an Advisor for PeopleTech Partners. Marissa also served as an Advisor for Assembly, where they provided guidance on product development, sales, marketing, and customer success. Before that, they held the role of Vice President, People at Artera, where they focused on building for scale and enhancing the employee experience. Marissa's experience also includes serving as the Senior Director, Human Resources at Foursquare, where they played a key role in the post-merger integration efforts. Marissa was previously the Head of People at Factual Inc, responsible for various aspects of the company's HR function. Marissa also had notable roles at LinkedIn, PwC, and Gap Inc., where they contributed to talent management, diversity and inclusion, and HR strategy.

Marissa Morrison has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. Marissa also pursued studies in International Business and Mandarin at City University of Hong Kong. In terms of additional certifications, Marissa obtained a Change Management Certification from ATD Los Angeles in May 2018 and became a member of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) in August 2013.
