Rudi Cilibrasi

In their most recent position at Ziteo Medical, they served as a Lead Staff Software Engineer, where they designed and refactored a distributed software system for controlling a medical device imaging system. Rudi also solved software stability issues and implemented CI/CD using Github.

Prior to that, Rudi worked at Metagood, where they were a Staff Software Engineer. Here, they led a team in building a blockchain-based system that linked web2 social media accounts with web3 Ethereum accounts in the context of an NFT. Rudi also created dynamic websites using Typescript and Solidity on the blockchain.

Before joining Metagood, Rudi was a Staff Software Engineer at CipherTrace. While in this role, they played a key role in a core redesign that led to the company's acquisition by Mastercard. Rudi utilized various technologies, including Kafka, Kubernetes, Cassandra, C++, Scala, and Typescript, to build fault-tolerant distributed systems for analyzing blockchain transactions.

Earlier in their career, Rudi worked as a Co-Founder at Petabyte Storage, where they provided software consulting services for cryptocurrency projects and built prototypes for Stepcoin, which incentivizes steps counted on mobile phones with ERC20 tokens.

Additionally, Rudi has experience as a Backend Engineer at Checkr, where they developed machine learning and NLP algorithms for categorizing public court records. Rudi also estimated the likelihood of matching personal information against public databases.

Rudi's past positions also include CEO at More Fun Technologies, Senior Data Scientist at Pluribus Labs, Principal Software Engineer at Jiff, and Member of Research Staff at Fujitsu Labs of America, where they worked on various software development and data analysis projects.

Rudi Cilibrasi obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Caltech in the years 1992 to 1996. Rudi later pursued a PhD in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Amsterdam from 2001 to 2007. In addition, they also acquired the FCRA Basic Certification from NAPBS in August 2016.
