Alex de la Pole

Alex de la Pole has extensive experience in prototype design and development, currently working at Ziztel Limited since August 2018. The role involves designing advanced systems such as a 3U Rackmount Prototype Gas Alarm Monitoring System and ATEX-rated electronics for hazardous environments. Additionally, Alex operates a design lab, providing industrial design services. Prior roles include lecturing in Product Design at Nottingham Trent University and serving as a Design Unit Rendering Consultant at De Montfort University. Earlier professional experiences range from hospitality positions at Mitchells & Butlers PLC and Costa Coffee to technical roles at Warwickshire County Council, focusing on design and workshop support. Academically, Alex holds a BA (Hons) in Furniture & Product Design from Nottingham Trent University and a BSc in Audio & Music Technology from the University of the West of England.
