Laura Covington

Laura Covington is an experienced communications professional with a robust background in strategy and public relations. Currently serving as an Independent Communications Strategy Consultant since March 2016 and a Senior Communications Manager at Zocdoc since October 2016, Laura has previously held key roles including Director of Communications at Capsule and Public Relations Manager at Foursquare. During tenure at Foursquare, Laura was instrumental in leading global communications efforts and managing significant media relations. At the Alliance for Health Reform, Laura successfully led the planning and execution of numerous educational events for congressional audiences. Laura holds a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication, as well as African Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
