João Freitas

João Freitas has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. In 2017, they had a software developer internship at Collab, where they developed a unified setup app using the .NET framework. From 2018 to 2019, João worked as a software developer at CBRE, focusing on extracting data from various sources into a Postgres database. In 2019, they became the lead software engineer at Coachee.io, where they built a marketplace platform using Go, Docker, Nginx, and MySQL. In 2020, they joined Perkbox as a backend engineer/team lead, responsible for planning the workload, managing stakeholders, and developing a billing system integrated with external services. Later in the same year, João joined ZOE as a software engineer.

From 2015 to 2018, João Freitas attended the Instituto Superior Técnico where they pursued a degree in Information Systems and Computer Engineering. During their time at the institute, their field of study focused on Computer Science.
