Araya Metzger

Araya Metzger has over 13 years of work experience in the creative industry. In 2020, they were the Lead Senior Brand Designer for ZolTrain, a mobile education platform. Her duties included leading all educational content design and elevating brand creative and strategic brand design. In 2019, they were a Production Artist & Graphic Designer for Vail Resorts, a Contract UI Designer for gyro, and a Contract Digital Designer for Booyah Advertising. From 2016 to 2019, they were a Digital Designer at 9thWonder Agency, where they created digital marketing experiences and branding components that captured attention and drove sales. In 2016, they were a Digital Production and Prepress Designer at Harmonic Media, Inc. where they prepared files for large and small scale printing. In 2015, they were a Digital Designer at Sports Authority, where they conceived and executed designs for e-retail elements. In 2016, they were a Featured Artist and Digital Designer for Dust City Designs, where they concepted and constructed designs for wood engraved stickers. From 2012 to present, they have been a Freelance Graphic Designer, where they have produced high-quality user interfaces, visual designs, and brand materials for use in multiple responsive platforms. Finally, from 2007 to 2016, they were the Creative Manager for Samana Lounge, where they developed and managed online marketing campaigns and produced marketing assets.

Araya Metzger attended the University of Colorado Denver from 2011-2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Digital Design. In 2014, they also attended the Danish Institute for Study Abroad for Design studies. Additionally, they hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Design certification.
