Juris Birznieks

Juris Birznieks has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Juris began their career in 1993 as the Founder and Co-owner of Lietiskais Informacijas Dienests, a role they held for 20 years. In 1993, they also founded and co-owned Biznesa augstskola Turība | Turiba University, where they served as Chairman of the Board until 2004. Juris continued to be involved with Turiba University as a Convent Advisor from 2004 to 2014.

In 2001, Juris Birznieks became a Board Member of the Highest Education Board of the Republic of Latvia, a position they held until 2009.

Juris also held concurrent roles in the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, serving as a Board Member from 2007 to 2009 and as Vice President from 2008 to 2009.

In 2003, Birznieks became the Chairman of the Board for the Riga Prize Fund, a role they held until 2009.

From 2005, they were the Owner of BBRC Sports and later became the Managing Director from an unspecified date in 2011.
