Charlie Dobbin

Charlie Dobbin has an extensive background in horticulture and education, currently serving as an instructor at Durham College and Humber College since 2015, teaching various courses related to horticulture and greenhouse management. Dobbin is also the host of The Garden Show on AM740 since 2008 and owns Garden Solutions by Charlie Dobbin, a residential horticultural consulting business established in 2002. Previous roles include Horticultural Director for the Canada Blooms Flower and Garden Festival from 2003 to 2014, volunteer judge for Communities in Bloom Ontario from 2006 to 2012, and radio host with CHML from 2003 to 2006. Earlier experience includes management and supervisory roles at White Rose Home & Garden and White Rose Crafts & Nursery Sales Ltd. Dobbin holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Horticulture from the University of Guelph and a Landscape Design Diploma from Ryerson University.
