Anubhav Rai

Anubhav Rai has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Anubhav is currently working as the Head of Operations Experts at zooplus, a position they have held since September 2023. Previously, they worked at Chewy as a Senior Operations Manager from April 2022 to September 2023, and as an ALP Operations Manager from September 2020 to April 2022.

Before Chewy, Anubhav worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Purdue Agile Strategy Lab from January 2019 to August 2020, where they focused on implementing strategic agile methodologies and integrating strategic doing with Lean. Anubhav also worked as a Supplier Development/Quality Analyst Co-op at ZF Group from August 2019 to May 2020, where they collaborated with suppliers to improve product quality and implemented lean principles to increase efficiency.

Anubhav gained additional experience as an Operations Management Intern at AFB International from May 2019 to August 2019, where they implemented process improvement solutions and coordinated capital projects. Prior to that, they served as a Senator at Purdue Graduate Student Government from August 2018 to July 2019.

Anubhav started their career at Publicis Sapient, where they held several roles including Associate L2 from August 2017 to July 2018, Associate L1 from July 2016 to July 2017, and Junior Associate from January 2016 to July 2016. Anubhav worked on various projects, facilitating quality delivery, performing testing and automation, and serving as a Business Analyst.

Anubhav also gained valuable experience as a Summer Trainee at NTPC Limited in 2015, where they analyzed data to predict coal consumption and studied load requirements. Anubhav began their career as a Technology Trainee at Rockwell Industrial Automation and Training Centre in 2014, where they implemented PLC and SCADA systems for industrial automation.

Anubhav Rai completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Purdue University between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University from 2012 to 2016. For their early education, they attended City Montessori School from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, they also hold certifications in Matlab, Business Analysis, and PLC Scada.
