Aviral Singh

Aviral Singh is an experienced professional in the field of automotive engineering and algorithm development. Currently serving as Manager - Autonomy at Zoox since June 2022, Aviral previously held the position of Engineering Manager - Perception, Sensor Fusion and Controls at Canoo from July 2018 to June 2022, where responsibilities included project management and negotiating timelines for software feature deliveries using SCRUM. Aviral's background also includes algorithm development for state estimation at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and embedded battery algorithm engineering at XALT Energy. Notably, Aviral contributed to the Deep Orange project at Toyota North America, which focuses on vehicle prototype creation. Aviral holds a Master of Science in Automotive Controls from Clemson University ICAR and a Bachelor of Technology from the National Institute of Technology Surat, along with specialized training in self-driving car engineering and deep learning.
