Akshat Singhal

Akshat Singhal has diverse work experience in the technology industry. Akshat is currently working at ZopSmart as the Director of Engineering, leading a team of engineers and overseeing development in multiple programming languages. Prior to this role, they worked at Astro as an Assistant Vice President, where they were responsible for architecture and tech planning of the entire Astro GoShop platform. Akshat also initiated the use of OAS 3.0 and API-specification first approach in the organization. Akshat has also held positions such as VP of Technology at Browntape Technologies, Team Lead at ZopNow, and Vice President of Engineering at Eatlo. In these roles, they managed teams, implemented tech processes, and developed tech systems from scratch. Additionally, Akshat has experience as a Product Engineer at Vizury, where they co-ideated and led the development of a single SDK solution for app developers and marketing managers. Akshat also designed and set up a solution for dynamic app retargeting. Overall, Akshat has demonstrated their expertise in engineering management, tech planning, and software development throughout their career.

From 2009 to 2013, Akshat Singhal attended Jaypee Institute of Information Technology in NOIDA, where they pursued a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
