Sandun Wimalasooriya

Sandun Wimalasooriya has a wealth of experience in the IT industry. Sandun began their career in 2011 as a System Engineer at Lapro Technologies, where they were responsible for providing onsite support to Lanka Government Network (LGN) and Bhatari Airtel. In 2012, they took on the role of Systems Engineer at Airtel, where they managed the IT Infrastructure, Endpoint Security and ISO 27001 standards for the island-wide Airtel Stores. In 2014, they joined IBM as a Data Center Support Administrator, where they worked with Process-oriented IT background and had hands-on knowledge with Change Management process, MAXIT tool and other IBM processes. In 2019, Sandun joined ZorroSign, Inc. as a DevOps Tech Lead, and later took on the roles of DevOps Associate Tech Lead and DevOps Engineer.

Sandun Wimalasooriya has an extensive education history. Sandun completed a Bachelor of Information Technology from the University of Moratuwa from 2010 to 2014. Sandun then went on to earn a BSC (Hons) Computing in Information Technology from Teesside University from 2016 to 2017. Before that, they attended St. Mary's college from 1989 to 2003. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, such as Learning Jenkins from LinkedIn in 2023, Learning Ansible from LinkedIn in 2022, and OCI Foundations 2021 Associate [1Z0-1085-21] from Oracle in 2021.
