Michał Ptaszyński has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of design. Michał is currently working as the Lead Product Designer at Zowie since September 2022. Michał is also an active member of the Design Leadership Forum since March 2022, contributing to the advancement of design leadership practices.
Prior to their current roles, Michał served as the Head of Design at Packhelp from July 2018 to September 2022. In this role, they led the design team, collaborated with developers and stakeholders, and oversaw the holistic experience, interaction, and visual design. Michał was responsible for designing various applications, websites, and features, as well as creating prototypes and maintaining the brand integrity.
Before Packhelp, Michał held the position of Head of Design and UX at Shoplo from April 2017 to July 2018. Michał also gained valuable experience as a Senior Lead UI/UX Designer and UI & Graphic Designer at EL Passion from September 2015 to April 2017, and September 2013 to September 2015, respectively.
Earlier in their career, Michał worked at Connectmedica as an Art Director from January 2013 to August 2013, and as a Junior Art Director from February 2011 to January 2013. Michał also served as a Graphic Designer at Green Parrot from March 2010 to April 2011, and at Actus Design from September 2009 to February 2010.
Throughout their career, Michał has demonstrated leadership skills, a strong design acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Michał has also been proactive in attending conferences, promoting brands and products, and optimizing processes to drive success in their roles.
Michał Ptaszyński began their education in 2005 at the Uniwersytet Marii Curie-Skłodowskiej w Lublinie, where they pursued a Master's degree in Public Administration. Michał completed their degree in 2010. In 2008, they briefly studied at Vilniaus universitetas / Vilnius University, working towards another Master's degree. The field of study for this degree is not provided.
In 2009, Michał enrolled in a typography course at Uniwersytet Kardynała Stefana Wyszyńskiego w Warszawie, which they completed in 2010. Following this, they attended the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology from 2011 to 2012, where they pursued a Postgraduate degree in Advanced Media.
Michał Ptaszyński also possesses several additional certifications. In 2023, they obtained a certification in UX Research from WitFlow. In 2022, they obtained certifications in Product Analytics, Data Driven Design, and Digital Analytics Strategy from WitFlow and Learn Design. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Qualitative Analysis from Learn Design in the same year.
