Niv Steingarten

Niv Steingarten is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and product development. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Zscaler since February 2023, Niv previously co-founded Canonic Security, where the role of CTO involved leading the development of a SaaS Application Security platform prior to its acquisition by Zscaler. Niv also co-founded OverOps, serving as VP of Engineering, creating a Continuous Reliability solution before its acquisition by Harness. Other notable roles include co-founding GeoConnected, acting as a Sr Software Architect at Autodesk, and a Sr Software Engineer position at VisualTao. Niv began a career in technology as a Sr Security Researcher in the Israel Defense Forces' Military Intelligence unit. Niv holds a B.Sc in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.
