Al MacKin

Al Mackin is a seasoned digital strategist and entrepreneur with extensive experience in founding and leading various companies. Currently serving as Director and Founder of theEword since September 2006, Mackin has successfully grown the agency from a small operation to a prominent digital firm, taking on the role of CEO in 2011. In addition to their work at theEword, Mackin is the Principal at rebrix, Chairman and Trustee of Forever Manchester, and holds several advisory roles, including being a Board Advisor for various companies. Mackin is also the Founder/Shareholder of both Formisimo and Zuko Analytics, focusing on improving online forms and analytics. An advocate for community initiatives, Mackin initiated charitable drives such as Caketober and the Manchester Music Amnesty, while also mentoring students aspiring to enter the creative and digital industries. Mackin's educational background includes a degree in Computing Science from The University of Manchester.
