Samuel Doan

Samuel Doan has a strong background in software engineering and development. Samuel currently works at Zuora as a Senior Software Engineer since February 2022. Previously, they worked at Caterpillar Inc. as a Software Engineer at CAT Digital from June 2021 to January 2022.

Before that, Samuel worked at State Farm® for several years. At State Farm®, they held the position of Software Developer from June 2018 to June 2021. In this role, they developed and maintained multiple web services and integrators, as well as UIs using Spring Boot, Java, and Postgres SQL.

Samuel Doan's professional journey began at State Farm® as a Software Development Intern in the Research & Development department. Samuel worked on various innovation projects, including building a chatbot application using NodeJS and regular expressions to trigger commands on GitLab via RocketChat. This internship lasted for two semesters and a full-time summer.

Prior to State Farm®, Samuel gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Wigit Inc. Samuel's work experience showcases their expertise in software engineering, development, and their ability to work on innovative projects in different team settings.

Samuel Doan attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2015 to 2018, where they pursued a degree in Mathematics & Computer Science with a focus on Computer Science.
