Emmanuel Mtika

Emmanuel Mtika is a highly experienced leader in the energy sector, currently serving as the Global Head of Power Generation including Sustainable Energy at Zurich Insurance since March 2024, focusing on de-risking energy transition and accelerating innovation in sustainable energy. Prior to this role, Emmanuel held various leadership positions at Siemens Energy, including Senior Director for Africa, where the emphasis was on shaping the energy landscape across the continent. Emmanuel's extensive background includes significant roles at Siemens Oil & Gas, Rolls-Royce as Country Manager in Angola, and numerous senior consulting and project management positions across the UK. Emmanuel holds an MSc in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford and a BSc (Honours) in Exploration Geology from Cardiff University.
