Karuppiah Saravanan, MBA, is an experienced IT leader with a robust background in managing IT operations and infrastructure services across multiple industries. Currently serving as Head of IT Operations & Japan IT Services at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, Karuppiah oversees critical operations for both General Insurance and Life Business in Japan. Previous roles include Head of Corporate IT & Infrastructure at Paidy, and Head of IT Operation & Project Delivery at NN, where responsibilities encompassed production operations, project delivery, and service management for NN Life Insurance Japan. With earlier management positions at AIG and AXA Life Insurance Co., Ltd., Karuppiah has a proven track record in quality management, software development lifecycle governance, and team leadership, leading operational teams of over 100 associates. Educationally, Karuppiah holds an MBA from Bharathiar University, specializing in Marketing, Finance, and Systems.
