Tanja Alvesalo-Roesch

Tanja Alvesalo-Roesch currently serves as the Head of HR and Advisor to the Bilingual Program Development at Zurich International School since February 2024. Previously, Tanja held the roles of Joint Head of School and Head of Admissions at Obersee Bilingual School in Switzerland from July 2014 to January 2024. Tanja was the owner of Gruezi Newcomer GmbH from July 2009 to October 2023 and worked at SECO Economic Cooperation and Development as Deputy Head of International Labour Affairs from 2002 to 2007. Early career experiences include positions as Court Auditor at Horgen District Court and as a Scientific Collaborator at SECO. Tanja began a career in education as a Language Teacher at inlingua from 1993 to 1997. Tanja's academic credentials include a CAS in Leading an Educational Organization from Pädagogische Hochschule Zürich, a Diplôme des Hautes Etudes Européennes et Internationales from Centre international de formation européenne, a Master's Degree in International Law and Legal Studies from Université de Fribourg, and an ALP Certificate in European and International Law from the University of Amsterdam.
