Ioanna Makri

Ioanna Makri is a Quality Assurance Employee at Zweifel Pomy-Chips AG since May 2020, specializing in quality control of raw materials and final products, with a focus on measurements of salt, water, fat, and sugar. Prior experience includes a Master of Food Engineering Thesis at the Agricultural University of Athens, developing a novel fat-based system for the encapsulation of vitamin D3 in infant formulas. Ioanna also worked as an Assistant in R&D and Product Development at microPow AG, where Ioanna encapsulated colorants, flavors, and vitamins using spray-chilling techniques. Additional roles include external collaboration at Hellenic American University for exam supervision and a position as a Microbiology and Nutrition Analyst at JIOTIS, conducting microbiological analyses and dietary evaluations. Ioanna holds a Higher Educational Diploma in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the Agricultural University of Athens and a Diploma in Piano from Ars Musicalis.
