Anja Hübner

Anja Hajdukovic is a multidisciplinary professional with a robust background in environmental sciences, climate change research, and project management. Currently a member of The Explorers Club and a research assistant at Université de Genève, Anja leads a research project investigating the effects of heatwaves on freshwater ecosystems. Previous experience includes serving as a scientific coordinator at the Office fédéral de l'environnement OFEV, where Anja developed communication strategies and contributed to climate change risk management guidelines. Anja's career also features roles as a scientific project officer for the Fondation Pacifique, an administrative clerk during the Covid-19 response, and earlier positions focused on environmental advocacy and research. Anja holds a Master's degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Geneva and has completed an exchange semester at ETH Zürich.
