Omkar Borde

Omkar Borde has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Omkar is currently working as the Manager of Specifications and Business Development at Zydex Industries since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Berger Paints India, where they held the position of Senior Technical Officer in Concrete Technology (Admixture) from June 2021 to July 2022, and as a Senior Officer in Technical Sales from August 2019 to June 2021. Before joining Berger Paints, Omkar worked as an M.Tech Research Scholar at the Institute of Chemical Technology from July 2017 to July 2019. Omkar began their career as an Internship Trainee at Apollo Tyres Ltd in June 2016.

Omkar Borde completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Polymer/Plastics Engineering at Maharashtra Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. Omkar then pursued a Master of Technology (MTech) in Polymer/Plastics Engineering at the Institute Of Chemical Technology from 2017 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Omkar Borde has also obtained certifications. Omkar completed a certification course in "Building Materials and Composites" at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur in January 2021. Currently, they are pursuing a certification course in "Advanced Concrete Technology" at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
