Fiona Hanner

Fiona Hanner is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of genomics and biotechnology. Currently serving as the FAS Manager for the Southwest at 10x Genomics since July 2021, Fiona previously held roles as a Field Application Scientist at Stilla Technologies and participated as a volunteer community member for Caltech's Institutional Biosafety Committee. Fiona's background includes serving on the leadership team for the RLC Intentional Moms Support Group and significant contributions at Bio-Rad Laboratories as a Genomic Development Specialist and Account Manager. Fiona earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Systems Biology and Disease from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Developmental Biology from the University of Rochester. Notable research includes a thesis on connexin and pannexins in the kidney.
