Brian Ely

Brian Ely is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in admissions and student engagement. Currently serving as Vice President of Student Engagement at 2U since May 2013, Brian has previously held the role of Vice President of Admissions and has worked as Director of Admissions at Syracuse University Whitman School of Management. Prior experience includes positions at Simmons College and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in various admissions capacities. Brian's background also encompasses a tenure at the Federal Trade Commission, where responsibilities included recruitment for the Honors Paralegal Program and conducting legal research. Additionally, Brian has experience in project management and marketing from roles at Wells Fargo and Campus Direct, highlighting a strong foundation in market research and client relations. Brian obtained a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Maryland in 2010.
