Andia Laura Chakava

Andia Laura Chakava is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in investment and governance. Currently serving as a Board Member at 2X Global and as Investment Director at Graça Machel Trust, Chakava also chairs the Investment Advisory Council for the Equality Fund. Additional roles include Non-Executive Director positions at STERLING INVESTMENT BANK and East African Educational Publishers, as well as Founding Chairperson of New Faces New Voices Kenya. Chakava has been an active contributor to Opes-Lcef's Investment Committee and previously served on the Advisory Board of the Women Enterprise Fund Kenya. As a co-founder and Managing Director of Alpha Africa Asset Managers, Chakava has demonstrated strong leadership in the financial sector. Educational credentials include an MBA in Finance from Bayes Business School and a BA Honours in Economics from York University.
