Jonny Cogut

Jonny Cogut has a diverse work experience in the entertainment industry. Jonny started their career in 2010 as an intern at MIX NYC, where they catalogued and screened film submissions. In 2012, they became an Alternative Content Intern at Focus Features, curating and creating marketing materials for digital platforms. Jonny then worked as a Production Apprentice at The Weinstein Company, providing coverage on screenplays and books and handling administrative tasks. From 2011 to 2014, Jonny worked as an Associate Producer/Team Member at Illumine Productions, where they assisted with various aspects of documentary production. Jonny also had an internship as an Acquisitions Intern at Tribeca Enterprises, where they maintained a film acquisition database and devised marketing concepts. In 2014, they served as an Assistant at William Morris Endeavor. Jonny joined Bunim Murray Productions in 2016 as an Executive Coordinator before being promoted to Associate Producer and then Talent Producer. In 2019, they worked as a Freelance Creative Development for Refinery29, Inc. and later became Manager of Development at Brian Graden Media. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Development at 3 Ball Entertainment.

Jonny Cogut attended Horace Mann School from 2000 to 2008. Jonny did not pursue a specific degree or field of study during this time. Following their time at Horace Mann School, Jonny Cogut attended Brown University from 2009 to 2013. Jonny earned their A.B degree in Modern Culture and Media.
