Eugenia Araiza Marín has a diverse work experience in the field of diabetes care and nutrition. Starting in 2000, they worked as a Nutritionist and Diabetes Educator at the Asociacion Mexicana de Diabetes en Guanajuato until 2004. In 2004, they established their own private nutrition practice specializing in diabetes. Eugenia continued this practice until 2019.
In 2007, Eugenia also worked as a Diabetes Educator at Medtronic and as a University Teacher at Universidad Iberoamericana León.
In 2019, Eugenia began working as a Freelance Writer and also launched their project called Healthy Diabetes. This project provides educational resources and offers private virtual practice in Nutrition and Diabetes Education for various conditions related to diabetes.
Eugenia also had multiple roles at Beyond Type 1, starting in 2020. Eugenia served as a Social Media Manager and Project Manager for Spanish properties, managing translation projects and creating content in Spanish. Eugenia was also a Senior Manager, overseeing the coordination of editorial calendars and localization projects.
Most recently, Eugenia has joined 9am.health as a Diabetes Care Specialist in 2022.

From 2009 to 2012, Eugenia attended Universidad Iberoamericana León, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Analysis and Development of Education with a field of study in Evaluation and research in education.
Between 2005 and 2007, Eugenia attended Universidad de Cádiz and earned a Master's degree in Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition Services.
During the same period at Universidad de Cádiz, Eugenia also acquired a Master's Degree in Dietetics and Human Nutrition Specialty in Pediatric Nutrition, focusing on Clinical Nutrition/Nutritionist.
In 2004, Eugenia pursued a distance postgraduate course in "Hospital Nutrition" at the University of Navarra, specializing in Clinical Nutrition/Nutritionist.
Additionally, in 2004, Eugenia obtained a Diabetes Educator Certification from Universidad Iberoamericana León, with a field of study in Community Health and Preventive Medicine.
Eugenia started their educational journey at Universidad Iberoamericana León from 1998 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Nutrition and Food Science, specializing in Clinical Nutrition/Nutritionist.
Lastly, in 2003, Eugenia completed a course in assessment and programming of diets at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, enhancing their knowledge in Clinical Nutrition/Nutritionist.
