Chris Nicol is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience in developing collaborative solutions and educational technologies. Currently, Chris holds the position of Electrical Engineer at SMART Technologies, focusing on hardware development for DViT interactive whiteboards and related educational devices. Prior to this role, Chris worked as a Firmware Engineer at the same company, contributing to firmware and diagnostic tools for similar products. Previous experience includes serving as an Electronics Contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation, designing educational devices, and as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, assisting in electronic circuits courses.
