Scott Buchan

Scott Buchan currently serves as the Senior Volunteer Coordinator at A Wider Circle, a role that follows previous positions as a volunteer coordinator and truck driver within the same organization. With experience as an assessor for the Maryland State Department of Assessments and Taxation and as a branch banker at PNC, Scott has demonstrated a diverse skill set in various sectors. Prior to these roles, Scott was a Young Leaders Program intern at The Heritage, focusing on information technology and project implementation. Additionally, Scott held significant leadership positions in the UMBC Student Government Association, including Treasurer and Finance Board Representative, where responsibilities included managing budgets and improving financial processes for student organizations. Scott holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, complemented by coursework at Montgomery College.
