Ted Ballard

Ted Ballard is a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer at AAM since December 2011, focusing on launching new programs and evaluating suppliers for successful launches. Prior experience includes roles such as Forward Model Analyst at Mazda North America, where leadership in data-driven improvements for vehicles was emphasized, and Supplier Liaison Engineer at Ford Motor Company, supporting Supply Chain training and product launches. Ted also served as a Quality Manager at both Detroit Diesel and L&W Engineering, managing quality systems and coordinating QS9000 audit reviews, as well as preparing critical documentation for certification. Ted holds an MBA in Business/Industrial Technology from Eastern Michigan University, a Bachelor's Degree in Quality Management from Cleary University, and an Associate Degree in Electronics from Indiana Institute of Technology.
