Mariia Kukkakorpi

Mariia Kukkakorpi has had a varied career since 2015. Mariia began as a Blogger for Epilogi – Jälkisanat, and then moved into a Freelance Writer role for the University of Helsinki. Mariia also held a Script Reader (Internship) position with Yo Go Far, and a Communications Intern role with Diaconia University of Applied Sciences. In 2017, they were a Digital Marketing Trainee with Aalto University and a Content Producer with Qreform. In 2019, they began a Doctoral Researcher role with the University of Helsinki, and in 2020 they moved into a Content Manager role with Sortter Oy, where they were responsible for planning, coordinating, editing, and producing engaging content related to economy and personal finances, as well as SEO, copywriting, CRM, social media, native articles, and press releases. Mariia is currently a Communications Manager for Aatos.

Mariia Kukkakorpi has a diverse educational background. Mariia obtained a Master of Social Sciences from the University of Helsinki in 2018, where their field of study was Media and Global Communication. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies from London South Bank University between 2012 and 2015. Mariia also completed a one-year course in Creative Writing at Työväen Akatemia in 2010-2011. In addition, Mariia Kukkakorpi has a Basic and Advanced Studies in Creative Writing from Oriveden Opisto, which they completed between 2009 and 2012. Mariia also holds a certification in Elements of AI from the University of Helsinki and Reaktor.
