Neil Dial has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the manufacturing and electronics industries. Neil is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Abaco Systems, Inc., where they assumed the position in July 2019. Prior to that, they served as the General Manager at Benchmark Electronics from November 2016 to July 2019.

Before their time at Benchmark Electronics, Neil held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Powell Industries, Inc. from 2013 to 2015. In this role, they had overall operational control and P&L responsibility for eight business divisions, overseeing functions such as sales, production, supply chain, engineering, and service.

From 2008 to 2013, Neil worked as the Senior Vice President of Global Operations at Power-One, a company specializing in electrical AC/DC power products for the renewable energy market. Prior to that, they were the Vice President and General Manager of Americas at Plexus Corp. from 2002 to 2008, where they managed a $1.2 billion electronic assembly business unit in North America.

Earlier in their career, Neil served as the Director of Notebook Operations at Dell Computer Corp. from 1999 to 2001, where they led a team responsible for managing high-volume manufacturing facilities. Neil also worked as the President and Chief Operating Officer at Adflex Solutions, Inc. from 1996 to 1999, leading teams in sales, marketing, product development, and offshore manufacturing.

Neil Dial has a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Administration from the University of Northern Colorado. Neil also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from the University of Northern Iowa. In addition to their degrees, Neil attended the United States Army War College, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Strategic Planning. Neil has military experience as a brigadier general in the US Army Reserves, and they are now retired. Neil also has additional certifications including CPIM from APICS, Lead Six Sigma Black / Green Belt from Purdue University, and Six Sigma Quality Green Belt from Motorola University.
