Julien Santo

Julien Santo has a diverse work experience in the field of translational research and project management. Julien worked at Abivax from 2014, starting as a Research Associate and later progressing to the role of Senior Project Manager. In this role, they handled various responsibilities such as managing laboratory aspects related to clinical study protocols, coordinating with vendors and academic institutes, identifying and qualifying CROs, and managing logistics for clinical samples. As of January 2022, Julien holds the position of Translational Research Director at Abivax. Prior to their time at Abivax, they worked at Splicos SAS as a Postdoctoral Scientist and Doctorant chercheur (industrie), where they were involved in reporting research activities, planning and implementing research techniques, and contributing to publications and presentations.

Julien Santo completed their education with a Doctorat Bilogie-Santé degree in Biochimie et biologie moléculaire from the University of Montpellier in 2010-2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Master Professionnel degree in Biotechnologie from the same university in 2007-2009. Julien also holds a Licence degree in Biochimie et biologie moléculaire from the University of Montpellier (2005-2007) and a DUT degree in Analyses biologique et biochimique from IUT MONTPELLIER-SETE (2003-2005).
