Maria Tunberg

Maria Tunberg has a diverse work experience that spans several companies and roles. Maria is currently working at Analysys Mason as Partner and Head of the Lund office since 2019. Prior to this, they held the position of Principal and Head of Lund office at the same company from 2019 to 2023, where they worked on projects related to smart urban agriculture and digitalization. Maria also worked as a Manager and Head of Lund office at Analysys Mason from 2019 to 2019.

Before joining Analysys Mason, Maria was the Founder and Board Member of Academic Solutions, a company focused on connecting students with businesses to provide mutual benefits. Maria founded this company in 2016 and continues to be associated with it.

Maria also founded and was a Board Member of Tunberg AB since 2003. Additionally, they worked at SLU - Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences as a Researcher from 2017 to 2019, where their research focused on business growth and entrepreneurship. Maria also completed their PhD at SLU, specializing in business development and entrepreneurship from 2011 to 2017.

Maria had a brief stint as Head of Regional Development at AB Stelacon from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Manager at the Swedish Energy Agency from 2009 to 2011 and as a QSE Advisor/Project Manager at Vestas Wind System A/S from 2007 to 2009. At Vestas Wind System A/S, Maria was part of the company's Management Trainee Programme, where they implemented and managed quality, health and safety, and environmental management systems within the wind power industry.

Maria Tunberg completed their education from 2002 to 2006 at SLU - Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, earning a degree in Ekonomie Magister with a focus on Miljöekonomi. From 2006 to 2007, they attended Cranfield University, where they obtained an MSc in Environmental Management for Business. Finally, Maria Tunberg pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Business Administration and Management, General from SLU - Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences from 2011 to 2017.
