Jarett Mendoza

Jarett Mendoza is an experienced health and safety manager currently serving at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences since October 2021. Previous roles include health and safety/COVID manager at OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, where Jarett led workplace COVID-19 safety planning and managed on-site testing vendor relationships. As a Covid Compliance Officer at Epitome Risk Solutions Inc., Jarett oversaw compliance risk for productions involving over 100 crew members, while earlier work as a Covid Tech Administrator at Warner Bros. Entertainment involved implementing technological solutions for contact tracing. Jarett's background also includes videography and editing for The Thrive Center for Human Development, as well as military service as a Cavalry Scout in the US Army. Jarett holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Entertainment Business and Producing from Los Angeles Film School, completed in 2021.
