Rimas Rekasius

Rimas Rekasius has a diverse range of work experience. Rimas currently works as a Lead Developer at Accertify, Inc. since April 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Consultant at EY from January 2019 to April 2020. Rimas also served as a Technical Consultant at Solstice from October 2017 to September 2018. Rimas Rekasius has experience in the mobility industry, working as a Mobility Architect/Developer at Shire from June 2016 to August 2017, at Baxalta from July 2015 to June 2016, and at Baxter Healthcare from August 2011 to June 2015. Before this, they were a SOA Architect at the American Medical Association from December 2009 to August 2011. In 2009, they worked as a Principal Consultant at Noblis, where they designed and developed case management systems for the U.S. government using SOA technology and IBM WebSphere products. Rimas Rekasius has a long history with IBM, starting as a Software Engineer in 1988 and progressing through various roles such as Senior Software Engineer, Industry Standards Architect, and Consulting IT Specialist. Their responsibilities at IBM included working with AIM Customer Programs, WebSphere BPM and Application Server, and leading the WS-I Requirements Gathering Working Group, among others.

Rimas Rekasius completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Northwestern University between 1982 and 1986. Additionally, they obtained several certifications in various fields such as Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals from Google Cloud Platform through Coursera, as well as certifications in JavaScript, ECMAScript 6, Python, Redux, and Data Analysis from LinkedIn in September 2018.
