Jim Rooker is currently the Program Supervisor at Achieve Services. Jim has over 25 years of experience in the field of disability services. Jim began their career as a Program Director at Dungarvin in 1987, where they supervised 3 residential programs in the Maple Grove/Osseo area. In 1991, they became the Project Coordinator at Nekton, Inc., and then in 1996, they became the Program Supervisor at Anoka County Achieve. In 2004, they also became a Board member of the Minnesota Habilitation Coalition, and served in that role until 2011. In 2008, they were a founding member of MN Works, and served on the Board until 2012.
Jim Rooker earned a BS in Elementary Education with a focus on Learning Disabilities from Bemidji State University. Jim later went on to earn an Associate's degree in Journalism from Northland Community and Technical College.
Jim Rooker works with Cassie Derner - Program Supervisor, Brooke Jensen - Development Director. Their manager is Tom Weaver, CEO.
