Katie Bardsley

Director Allogeneic Research at Adaptimmune

Katie Bardsley has held various roles in their work experience. Katie started at the University of Sheffield in 2010 as a Research Assistant. In 2014, they joined Keele University as a Research Associate and worked there until 2017. Additionally, they have worked at Adaptimmune since 2017, starting as a Senior Scientist in Stem Cell Research and then progressing to Group Leader in Stem Cell Research. Katie most recently held the position of Associate Director in Allogeneic Research and is currently the Director of Allogeneic Research at Adaptimmune.

Katie Bardsley completed their education in a systematic and progressive manner. Katie started their academic journey in 2003 at UCL, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biochemical Engineering, which they successfully completed in 2008. Following this, they joined the University of Nottingham in 2008 for a Master of Science (MSc) program in Stem Cell Technology, which was completed in 2009. Katie then proceeded to The University of Sheffield in 2010 to undertake a Ph.D. in Bone Tissue Engineering, completing their doctoral degree in 2013. Throughout their education, Katie has shown a clear focus on scientific and engineering fields, specifically in the areas of stem cells, tissue engineering, and biochemical engineering.
