Thomas Spisak

Thomas Spisak has extensive experience in project and program management within the telecommunications and optical networking sectors. Currently serving as a retiree from Butterfly Hill since January 2023, Thomas has held the position of Product Line Manager at ADVA Optical Networking since June 2008, where responsibilities include supporting product planning and lifecycle management for Ethernet Access products. Prior roles include Project/Program Manager positions at TXP Corporation and Siemens, where Thomas focused on the Passive Optical Network (PON) for fiber to the home solutions. Additional project management experience encompasses installations of central office equipment with GSM and GPRS technologies, as well as installations and operational support for various network products. Thomas's career began at Nortel Networks, culminating in senior management of operations and product introductions. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas.
