Chris Harano

Chris is an expert in leading companies through periods of transformation, commercialization of technology and rapid commercial growth. Prior to joining Advanced BioCatalytics, Chris was President of Leading Edge Aviation Services, an aerospace paint and coatings company, which has transformed from a privately held company to an institutionally owned, global market share leader. Prior to that Chris ran a manufacturing company of power generation equipment through a similar growth and transformation process. He first gained growth company experience as CFO of Day Software, which he managed from the start-up phase, through international expansion, IPO and ultimately a strategic sale to Adobe Software. Early in his career Chris was a CPA at Price Waterhouse performing audit, consulting, mergers & acquisitions and business turnarounds. Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MS in the Management of Technology from the Sloan School of Management at MIT. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
