Suzanne Cheng

Director Of Education at AEC Daily

Suzanne Cheng has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of interior design. Suzanne started their career at X-Design Inc. in 1997 as a Senior Interior Designer, where they worked until 2002. From 2002 to 2007, they served as the Head of Interiors at Murphy Hilgers Architects. Suzanne then joined Farrow Partnership Architects as a Senior Designer from 2007 to 2008. After that, they worked at X-Design Inc. once again as a Senior Interior Designer from 2008 to 2010. Alongside their time at X-Design Inc., they also founded Vojo MK in 2008 and served as its Principal until 2013. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as an Adjunct Faculty in Interior Design at Yorkville University. Currently, they hold the role of Director of Education at AEC Daily, which they started in 2016.

Suzanne Cheng's education history begins in 1983 when they attended the University of Toronto Schools for an unspecified degree or field of study. From 1989 to 1996, Suzanne studied at the University of Waterloo, earning a Bachelor of Environmental Studies (B.E.S.) and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) degree with a focus on Architecture. In 2015, Suzanne pursued further education at Brock University, obtaining a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in Adult Education from 2015 to 2016. Most recently, in 2021 and 2022, Suzanne attended York University to complete a Certificate in Learning Experience Design.
