Liu Yuan

Liu Yuan currently serves as a Project Scientist, Research Specialist, and Postdoctoral Researcher at UC Santa Barbara since September 2019, while also working as a Senior Research Scientist at Aeluma since October 2022. Prior experience includes the role of Photonics Senior Research Scientist and Consultant at Ultra-Low Loss Technologies from October 2019 to June 2022. Liu Yuan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Integrated Photonics from UC Santa Barbara, obtained in 2019, as well as a Master of Science in Integrated Photonics from UC Santa Barbara (2014) and a Master of Science in Condensed Matter and Materials Physics from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (2012).
